Job Title: Apprenticeship Readiness Program Instructor
Location: Maplewood High School (401 Walton Ln, Nashville, TN 37216)
Length of Contract: September 5, 2023 – April 30, 2024
Terms: Part-Time (15-20 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $50 per hour
Requirements: Instruction in-person 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., Mon-Fri, every school day (unless impacted by Holidays, In-Service, or Weather); Additional paid hours provided for lesson planning, program coordination, and student support (remote or in-office).

About This Role: MC3 is seeking a Part-Time Instructor to implement our Apprenticeship Readiness Program Curriculum at Maplewood High School during the 2023-2024 school year.
Responsibilities:
- Instruction and classroom management of 10-20 12th grade students in a Vocational and Technical Education setting
- Lesson planning for complete academic year to instruct the 120-hour North American Building Trades Unions Multi-Craft Core Curriculum in daily 1-hour classes
- Daily instruction of curriculum in-person in the classroom
- Scheduling guest speakers and instructors from our network of Building Trades Unions
- Reporting student outcomes to MC3 staff and North American Building Trades Unions
Supporting student enrollment and daily use of online learning management system
Candidate Requirements:
- Comfort instructing or ability to self-educate in order to instruct the following subjects: Basic Math, Diversity Awareness, Sexual Harassment Awareness, Financial Literacy, Blueprint Reading, Green Construction, Construction Tools & Materials, Construction Industry Awareness
- Ability to use email, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software such as Gmail, Microsoft Office, and Google Docs
- Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships with partners to coordinate and schedule guest speakers and instructors
