SHIFT NASHVILLE

Well folks, Nashville’s transit referendum is coming up soon:

Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

This referendum is a monumental opportunity to advocate for what we, as Nashvillians, really need to achieve a better quality of life in our city.

THIS IS A PATHWAY FOR US TO ENSURE:

TRANSIT JOBS

go to our neighbors and friends who need the work.

PUBLIC LAND

is actually used for the public good.

CONSTRUCTION JOBS

 explicitly protect workers’ rights.

TRANSIT HUBS

support healthy community development.

AFFORDABLE DAYCARES

are created for workers’ families.

NOW OR NEVER

This offers us a chance to implement some much-needed systemic change in our  communities and to start the conversation with Metro about what kind of city we want to build for the next generation.

If you’re tired of living to work, sick of being stuck on I-24, and ready for our elected officials to represent our needs rather than corporations, this is a practical way for you to help define who we are as a city and right the wrongs of the Titans Stadium deal and other corporate interests that are stripping Nashville of its true character.

HOW WILL TRANSIT IMPACT YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD?

The following map shows the transit corridors of the city. Use the layers to view public land along transit corridors, transit hubs, and areas at risk of gentrification and displacement. For a how-to guide to using the public land map, click here.
