SUN 2022 Year In Review

FIGHTING FOR THE SOUL OF OUR CITY

We fought like hell for our city in 2022!

Together, we created joy, good jobs, safe, affordable housing, and opportunities for THE PEOPLE to have a real say in the decisions impacting our lives and communities.

We also stood up to the most powerful corporations and developers to demand respect and accountability. We let them know we will not back down when they try to divide or harm us.

The year ended with Stand Up Nashville being named one of The Tennessean’s People of the Year! This honor and the accomplishments highlighted in our 2022 Year In Review were possible because of you, our member organizations, volunteers, supporters, and of course, our donors!

Your tax-deductible gift means we can continue to fight and be a voice for THE PEOPLE! You can count on us to fight for you. Can we count on you to chip in? DONATE HERE!

We are grateful for your solidarity and look forward to working alongside you in 2023 to make sure every Nashvillian — whether new or old to town, Black, Brown, or white — has a high quality of life in our great city!

STAND UP

AND TAKE ACTION

Stand Up Nashville (SUN) addresses racial and economic inequality through strategic research, popular education, and organizing. We inspire and empower our diverse base to build a stronger community that values the lives of Nashville’s people of color and working families.
