Rewrite rules of development

Join us to rewrite the rules of development at soccer stadium

Stand Up Nashville and community stakeholders are organizing a town hall on Thursday March 22nd from 6:30-8:30 pm at Watson Grove Baptist Church to create a Community Benefits Agreement for the new MLS stadium.

RSVP HERE!

What’s At Stake?

A recent economic impact study found that the construction phase of the stadium will create:

  • 3,500 full-time equivalent jobs
  • $139 million in income for Tennessee workers and businesses
  • $18 million in state and local taxes

Starting in 2020, operations is projected to create an additional:

  • 1,886 jobs
  • $78 million in annual income
  • $15 million in annual tax revenues.

A Community Benefits Agreement is needed to make sure that this public investment benefits the community, not just the developers.

This is where YOU come in! We need your participation to shape the vision and priorities for the stadium project. Metro Council still has to authorize demolition at the Fairgrounds with 27 votes for it to move forward. This gives us an incredible opportunity to make a real difference. The time is now!

So join us to demand that developers do better by our communities!

See you at Watson Grove.
