Part 5: Honk if you signed the petition

The Axle: Propelling Nashville Forward turns on the bright lights and shows you what’s possible for the road ahead. Stand Up Nashville and the SHIFT Nashville coalition recognize that transit is a vehicle to achieve the progress that our city’s residents want and need to see.

We believe that together, we can achieve the following and more:

  • Workplace safety and fair pay for every job from construction sites to corporate cubicles
  • Attainable housing regardless of someone’s income level
  • Nutritious food and grocery stores for every community
  • Affordable childcare that serves families
  • Reliable public transportation

We recently introduced the budget priorities petition. It details a people-centered approach to our city, our money, and our future. Help us reach 1,000 signatures in sending a clear, strong message to elected officials and power players.
